Peat – a healing gift of nature

Spa Hotel Děvín uses an extract of peloid (peat) from the V Borkách deposit of the Čistá – Krásno natural healing source. Its unique ingredients make it highly effective. Peat is one of the peloids (pelos means ‘mud’ in Greek) and was created over thousands of years through accumulation and fermenting processes from the decomposition of organic remains, chiefly of plants predominantly composed of sphagnum in a damp environment with no access to air.
